The Rainforest Information Centre (RIC)

is an Australian NGO founded in 1981 to protect the rainforests of the world. RIC has organized and participated in direct actions in defense of the rainforests, disseminated information through World Rainforest Report since 1984 and designed and implemented projects since 1987 to protect 3rd World rainforests. As well as the rainforests themselves, we are concerned with the well-being of their indigenous inhabitants and have worked in cooperation and partnership with many such groups over the years.
