It was a sad moment when Tiddas announced their retirement as a band late in 1999. They concluded playing in April. There is also a documentary being filmed as well. Scott had contact with the band via his housemate who has been stage managing and guitar teaching for the band in the past and on their new album reference is made to him as Russell "the love muscle" of which he denies any knowledge.
