Editorial

The next edition of World Rainforest Report (WRR36) will be the last one I edit. After seven years as editor, I have decided to quit. I will continue to edit the World Wide Rainforest Report -- the Internet version of the magazine.

Several people have expressed interest in helping with subsequent WRR's, but there is still room for anyone with computing and writing skills. If you want to help publish the world's most comprehensive, most comprehensible rainforest journal, please get in touch with us at the Lismore office of the Rainforest Information Centre.

In this edition, you will find a report on RIC projects. In the last six months, John Seed visited our projects in Ecuador and India, while Anja Light visited the ecoforestry project initiated by RIC and the Village Development Trust in Papua New Guinea.
