McLibel Verdict Due in June

The McLibel Defendants have today (April11) received a letter from the Judge's clerk saying that the Judge anticipates a judgment being in June.

The McLibel Trial, Britain's longest-ever court case, arose when the junkfood giant took two unwaged London residents to court for distributing a pamphlet entitled "What's Wrong with McDonald's?" The case has resulted in massive exposure of McDonald's involvement in rainforest destruction, misleading advertising, exploitation of workers, cruelty to animals and other dastardly deeds
