This is a note from my daughter's heart, Tiana, age 6, who is homeschooled. We were doing a study on animals when we came across a picture of the rain forest. She asked about the bulldozers, and I told her why they were in the picture. She became very upset and left the room. Quite frankly, I was suprised she took it that way. I don't know much about the ins and outs of the rain forest issue, I'm not even sure why they are being destroyed. She was simply upset that they were. She came back to me later with a picture she drew of the rainforest being destroyed by a bulldozer, all crossed out, with a message at the bottom that reads "DON'T TEAR DOWN OUR FOREST." It may not mean much to you, but it means a great deal to her that someone get the message. She was hoping you could use her mini-poster. If you would like, I would be glad to scan and send the picture to you. Could you please, on her behalf, send her an acknowledgment? If you would like the picture, you are free to use it however you like. Maybe it could help you. Thank you for your precious time.
